ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP):Minister for Power Omar Ayub on Tuesday said improvement in power transmission lines was the top priority of the incumbent government as it was the major cause of electricity problems, besides causing line losses.

He said line transmissions, transformers of the grid stations were obsolete and not generating and transmitting power properly in the country.
Replying to a question, he said a high level delegation had come from Saudi Arabia to invest huge amount as direct investment and it would prove fruitful for the country’s economy.
