ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP):The Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) I-8/3 has marked a new milestone in its academic journey with the commencement of classes for its inaugural BS English program.
To celebrate this achievement, the college organized an orientation session to welcome the first batch of BS students.
The event was attended by Mr. Shahid Mehmood Abbasi, Director Colleges, Ms. Riffat Jabeen, Director Academics, and Ms. Fasiha Fayyaz Khan, Deputy Director Quality Assurance of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). Members of the Quaid-i-Azam University Affiliation Committee, including Prof. Dr. Irfan Zia Qureshi, Imran Sadiq Ramzan Khan, and Raja Qamar Rasheed Satti, also graced the occasion.
The welcome address was presented by Prof. Najmun Nisa, Principal IMCG I-8/3.
She extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and newly enrolled students, expressing gratitude to FDE, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), and the college faculty for their collective efforts in launching the BS English program.
She noted that the program would not only fulfill the academic aspirations of students but also provide quality higher education opportunities within the local community.
Addressing the audience, Mr. Shahid Mehmood Abbasi congratulated the college administration and faculty on achieving this landmark development. He appreciated the joint efforts of FDE, QAU, and the institution in introducing the BS program and encouraged students to pursue their studies with passion, diligence, and a commitment to excellence.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks to all guests and participants, marking a proud moment in the academic history of IMCG I-8/3 as it embarks on its journey as a degree-awarding affiliate of Quaid-i-Azam University.
