ISLAMABAD, Oct 31 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday ordered the CDA to take action against illegal guesthouses and hostels operating in residential areas of the capital.
Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas withdrew the stay order against CDA action and dismisses the petitions against it. The two petitioners withdrew their cases while three cases were dismissed due to non-pursuance.
During the hearing of the petitions l, CDA lawyer Barrister Bilal Naseer raised the issue of fake notices in the court, on which it was revealed that a stay order was taken on fake notifications to prevent action against illegal hostels.
CDA lawyer Barrister Bilal Naseer said that fake notices were resorted to stop the CDA from taking action. The court dismissed some petitions on the grounds of non-compliance and withdrawal.
