ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday granted one-day protective bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala in cases related to promotions of gambling apps and other cybercrime.
The court also ordered them to appear in court tomorrow and stopped the authorities from arresting them upon their landing at airport.
The court of Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas heard the case filed by the two people.
During the hearing, lawyer Ahad Khokhar appeared in court on behalf of the petitioners. The court granted one-day protective bail and ordered not to arrest the YouTuber and TikToker upon landing at Islamabad Airport and directed that Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala appear in the Islamabad High Court tomorrow.
The court adjourned the hearing till Wednesday. Several other cases, including cybercrime, have been registered against both the accused.
