ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected a petition filed against the increase in salaries, allowances and privileges of members of parliament.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, while hearing the objections of the Registrar’s Office, pronounced the verdict on the petition of citizen Abdullah Shafiq.
The Registrar’s Office objected that the request in the petition was not clear. The petition made all members of parliament, including the Speaker, Chairman, Deputy Chairman Senate, Deputy Speaker Assembly, as parties.
The court rejected the petition, directing them to approach the relevant forum.
