The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued a notice to Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) on the review petition of its former Director General Muhammad Yaqoob regarding the increment and adjourned the hearing till April 13.
IHC adjourns case regarding incriment of ex-DG PMDC

ISLAMABAD, Mar 26 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued a notice to Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) on the review petition of its former Director General Muhammad Yaqoob regarding the increment and adjourned the hearing till April 13.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petition of former PMDC Director General (DG) Muhammad Yaqoob. During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani told the petitioner, former DG, that he has obtained financial benefits despite not being mentioned in the law.
On this, the petitioner said that now he had retired, and did not have any money. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that as long as he was alive, he could money, and if he died, his property could be sold.
He remarked that he considered it illegal to take a single rupee from anyone, why would he spoil his destiny hereafter when he had no legal right.
The judge remarked that he was taking notice, and would give decision after hearing the other party.
