IESCO notifies power suspension programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Saturday issued a power suspension programme for Sunday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work. 

ISLAMABAD, Mar 28 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Saturday issued a power suspension programme for Sunday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas including Askari-7, Sir Syed Road, CMH Flats, FFC, Khadim Hussain Road, Adam Jee Road, GHQ Express, New Kalyam, Pind Jhatla, Jatha Hathial, Industrial, Bhall and Jarrar Camp.
Similarly, in Attock Circle, power supply will remain disrupted from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Attock Cantt, Dhoke Fateh, Dar-ul-Islam Colony and Katchery feeders.
Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines, while from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the 132KV transmission line at New Wah Bahter More and surrounding areas will also remain without power.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
