The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 18 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm on feeders supplying Humayun Road and 502 Workshop areas.
Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, maintenance work on the 132KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines will result in power suspension from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm.
Similarly, work on the 132KV transmission line at New Wah Bahter More will cause outages from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm in the surrounding areas.
The IESCO management expressed apology to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
