IESCO notifies power suspension programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 16 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Monday issued a power suspension programme for Tuesday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in the Islamabad Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas served by F-8/1, F-8 Markaz, Meezan Bank, HC-3 PIMS, Kuldana and Gharial feeders.
Similarly, in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm on feeders including New Kalyam, Pind Jhatla, Jatha Hathial, Industrial, Bhall and Jarrar Camp.
In the Chakwal Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended during the same hours from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm on CWO, Abdullah Pur, Jala Pur, Sagharpur, Duffer and PD Khan feeders.
In GSO Circle,  from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, from 12-03-2026 08:00 am to 18-03-2026 24:00, Power Transformer T-2 at 132 KV GSS Kallar Syedan from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm  132KV T/L new Wah Bahter More, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
