ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP):The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police conducted a grand search and combing operation in various areas of Shalimar Police Station jurisdiction, under the supervision of SP Saddar Zone to curb crime and ensure public safety.
An official told APP on Sunday that the operation included the participation of ladies police personnel and was launched after a detailed pre-operation briefing to all participating units.
During the operation, police teams checked 400 individuals, 88 households, 60 shops, along with 20 motorcycles and 15 vehicles. The objective was to identify criminal elements and maintain law and order across the area.
He said the operation was part of the ongoing directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has ordered grand search operations across the federal capital to root out criminal activities and enhance community security.
