ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (APP):Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan on Wednesday said the government was following directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan for resolving the problems of the people and make the country as developed.
Talking to a private news channel. he said the prime minister or chief ministers could not make
the policies against the Constitution. He said implementation of the government policy was the duty of bureaucracy but it should not obey illegal orders of any person.
Replying to a question about removal of Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Police Muhammad Tahir, he said Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain had presented the government’s stance
in that regard.
He said that Parliamentarians should have to avoid use of derogatory language against each other.
Replying to another query, he said all political parties had consensus to hold accountability, adding that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should hold accountability against all corrupt people. He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government did not make cases against Opposition and there was no role of the government in arresting Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif.
Ali Muhammad Khan said the previous governments had destroyed the national economy and institutions of the country. The government would take concrete measures for strengthening national economy and the government was taking hard decisions for the purpose, he said. He expressed hope that we would not to approach IMF for next time.
