KARACHI, Sep 05 (APP):Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Wednesday
announced that the Governor House would be opened up to the general public
from September 07 (Friday).
Addressing the media persons after his visit to the Citizen Police
Liaison Committee (CPLC), he said that the families visiting governor house
from its gate no. 1 would be allowed after providing CNIC to the
staff.
Governor Sindh said the visitors would be able to see the office,
historical things used by Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad
Ali Jinnah, according to a statement.
He informed that the federal government had constituted a
committee for the recommendations to decide future of all four
governor houses which has started its work.
Replying to a query, he said that two rooms of Governor House were
being used one as an office another as library. He said he was only
using one car of the Governor House.
Earlier, during his visit to the CPLC, Imran Ismail said that the CPLC
had important role in data collection of criminals which helped
elimination of crimes.
He also visited the Central Reporting Cell of the CPLC. The Governor on
the occasion was briefed by Chief of CPLC Zubair Habib.
