ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir, Ghazala Habib Khan called on the Federal Minister and Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon at Parliament House Islamabad on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed in detail the current situation of the Kashmir issue, human rights violations in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by India, and the responsibilities of the international community.
On this occasion, Chairman Kashmir Committee, expressed complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people and said that Pakistan would always support the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
He called on the international community to play an effective role in ensuring the legitimate and fundamental right of the Kashmiri people in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.
Ghazala Habib Khan apprised the Chairman Kashmir Committee about the international awareness campaign being conducted by Friends of Kashmir.
She said that the organization is actively working to highlight the voice of the Kashmiri people worldwide.
The Chairman Kashmir Committee, while appreciating the role of Friends of Kashmir, said that the dynamic role of civil society and public organizations is very important in highlighting the Kashmir issue at international forums.
Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Abdul Hamid Lone was also present in the meeting.
