Funeral prayers held for Major General Waqar Ahmed Khan

ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (APP): Funeral prayers for former Deputy Surgeon General of AMC, Major General Waqar Ahmed Khan, who passed away due to natural causes, were offered on Monday.

Major General Waqar concluded his distinguished career as Director General Medical Services at NESCOM, earning recognition for his professionalism and unwavering commitment to the medical corps.

He was known for a life marked by service, dignity, and compassion. He was the son of former DMS Air Major General Aslam Khan, and both father and son served as SMO Ahsan at PAF Hospital Peshawar.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Samina, sons Ammar Waqar Khan and Azeem Khan, and daughter Nida Waqar Khan.
