The event brought together distinguished partners and stakeholders, including Ali Asghar, Director General of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD); Aftab Muhammad Khan, Secretary General of the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU), senior development practitioners Dr Vaqar Ahmed and Zafarullah Khan; Dr Ali Salman, CEO of the PRIME Institute; Amjad Khan; members of the FGP Board of Directors; and professionals from across the development sector.

The website, launched by Asad Rafi, CEO of Micronox Digital, is designed to strengthen FGP’s outreach, visibility, and knowledge-sharing. It provides an interactive platform to showcase the organization’s programmes, partnerships, research, and policy engagement efforts.

Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Anwar, CEO of FGP, put the light on the organization’s first year, highlighting its rapid growth as a credible and forward-looking development platform. He noted that the website would serve as a strategic tool to deepen engagement with partners, researchers, and communities across Pakistan.

He said that during its first year, the FGP focused on advancing innovation, policy engagement, and community empowerment. Key initiatives included the Digital Compliance Gateway to support small entrepreneurs, the Rights and Voices civic-tech platform to promote constitutional awareness, and AI-enabled digital empowerment programmes for youth and women. The organization also strengthened institutional collaboration through strategic partnerships with NCHD, PNCU, and other stakeholders, while contributing to research, climate advocacy through Green Gate Pakistan, and capacity-building initiatives.

The FGP extended appreciation to its strategic partners, including NCHD, PNCU, Accountability Lab Pakistan, Atlas Network, Micronox Digital, and collaborating academic and civil society institutions, acknowledging their support in delivering impact-driven initiatives.

FGP Chairman Dr Faiz Muhammad Kakar expressed gratitude to partners and stakeholders, emphasizing that collaboration remains central to achieving sustainable and inclusive development outcomes. FGP Directors Urooj Raza Sayyami and Tabindah Anwar also acknowledged the dedication and professionalism of the FGP team in establishing the organisation within a short span.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate the FGP’s first anniversary, marking an important milestone in its journey towards promoting inclusive development, evidence-based policy engagement, and innovation in Pakistan.
