Federal Minister Engr Amir Muqam arrives in Gilgit
ISLAMABAD, Nov 25 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, arrived in Gilgit on Tuesday.
He will attend the oath-taking ceremony of the caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Justice (R) Yar Muhammad, said a press release issued here.
The federal minister received a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Gilgit Airport.
PML-N President and former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, welcomed him at the airport.
Senior government officials, other PML-N leaders, and top officials of the ministry were also present on the occasion.
Senior officers of the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan accompanied the federal minister on his visit.
During his stay in Gilgit, Amir Muqam is also scheduled to hold important meetings.
