The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) announced the reopening of all educational institutions under its administrative control after the conclusion of spring holidays observed from March 16 to 31, in line with directives of the Cabinet Division on austerity and fuel conservation measures.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (APP): The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) announced the reopening of all educational institutions under its administrative control after the conclusion of spring holidays observed from March 16 to 31, in line with directives of the Cabinet Division on austerity and fuel conservation measures.

According to an official notification issued on Tuesday, it has been stated that as on the conclusion of spring break on 31-03-2026, all educational institutions under the administrative control of the FDE shall resume academic activities including admission process with effect from 01-04-2026 and new academic session shall commence physically on 06-04-2026.

Furthermore, institutions offering BS programmes shall commence their classes physically from 01-04-2026, it noted.
