During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman praised Siddiqui’s scholarly depth, literary brilliance, and political insight, noting that his creativity and intellectual contributions secured him a distinguished place among Pakistan’s leading thinkers and writers.
Irfan Siddiqui, Maulana said, disagreed with grace, politeness, and reasoning — a rare voice of balance and civility.

Meanwhile, Mehtab Khan, head of Ausaf Publications, visited the residence of the late Irfan Siddiqui, accompanied by senior columnist Allama Naveed Masood Hashmi. He extended condolences to Imran Siddiqui and Dr Nauman Siddiqui on the passing of their father.
