Eight terrorists killed, explosives recovered

SHEIKHUPURA, May 5 (APP): Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police  has killed eight terrorists and recovered weapons, suicide jackets, explosives from their possession during a late night operation.

According to CTD police sources, they received information that some  terrorists were coming to Sheikhupura from the direction of Nankana Sahib and they were encountered near Bhikkhi police station. As a result, eight terrorists were killed while six others mananged to escape.

The bodies of those killed in the operation were sent to DHQ hospital   Sheikhupura for indentification, the sources said.
