ISLAMABAD, Mar 19 (APP):The crescent moon of Shawwal was not sighted on Thursday evening, and Eid-ul-Fitr will therefore be observed across Pakistan on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced that no confirmed reports of moon sighting were received from any part of the country.
He said that with this decision, the holy month of Ramazan will complete 30 days.
Azad said skies remained overcast across most parts of the country on Thursday, while clear weather was reported in some areas.
He added that no testimonies regarding the sighting of the crescent moon had been received from any region.
