Eid Celebrate with Compassion, Unity, and Responsibility: Mayor Barrister Arslan

SUKKUR, Mar 21 (APP):Sindh Government Spokesperson and Sukkur Mayor, Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh, on Saturday extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the nation, particularly the people of Sukkur, children, elders, and all citizens, on the joyous occasion of Eid.

In a statement issued here, Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh said Eid teaches us the values of love, brotherhood, sacrifice, and unity. It reminds us to remember and share the joys with those in need, the poor and the deserving.

He noted that the Muslim Ummah is passing through a challenging time. The atrocities against innocent children and unarmed civilians in Palestine, especially Gaza, are shaking humanity’s conscience. The escalating tensions in the region and the situation concerning Iran were also a cause for concern.

In such circumstances, Muslims should need to stand united, patient, and prayerful, he said. The true message of Eid is to empathize with each other’s pain, eliminate hatred and promote peace, love, and tolerance.

“We should offer special prayers for our Palestinian brothers and sisters and the oppressed Muslims worldwide and express their resolve to play our part in helping them wherever possible,” he added.

Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh said Pakistan was a peaceful country, and they must work together to make it stronger and more stable. He appealed to the public to celebrate Eid responsibly, ensuring law and order.

He concluded by wishing all citizens Eid Mubarak, praying that Allah grants true happiness and liberates the Muslim Ummah from challenges.
