The Japanese officials appreciated the Minister’s remarks, emphasizing that both countries would continue to enhance cooperation across all sectors and work jointly for mutual progress.
During discussions on the regional situation, the minister said that Pakistan fully supports all diplomatic efforts and negotiations aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

He added that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, in a statement on X, had expressed the country’s readiness to host meaningful and result-oriented talks with the consent of the United States and Iran to seek a comprehensive solution.

This initiative reflects Pakistan’s voluntary commitment to de-escalating the conflict, with active roles being played by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal General Asim Munir.

The Japanese officials commended Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace, stating that Japan is also prepared to contribute to an early resolution of the conflict and expressing a shared desire for the swift stabilisation of the global economic situation.
