LAHORE, May 18 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Saturday met senior newsmen, media house owners and their representatives at a local hotel.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, during the meeting, discussed at length various challenges being faced by the government and urged the media-men to play their due role in the creation of a Naya Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minsiter Imran Khan.
She also listened to the problems faced by the media industry and assured of their resolution at the earliest.
Secretary Information Shafqat Jalil, journalists and editors, including Mujeeb ur Shami, Saleem Bokhari, Zulfiqar Rahat, Nasrullah Malik, Arif Nizami and others were also present.
