ISLAMABAD, Feb 19 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has met Foreign Minister of Indonesia Sugiono On sidelines of the High-Level United Nations Security Council (UNSC) briefing on Palestine in New York.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction at the depth and strength of the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries, a press release issued by the Foreign Office Spokesperson said on Thursday.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the WestBank, and agreed to work closely for a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in Palestine, in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
Recalling the successful visit of President Prabowo Subianto to Pakistan in December 2025, the deputy prime minister underscored its special significance, noting that it provided fresh impetus to bilateral cooperation and reflected the steady progress achieved over the decades.
