BEIJING, Jan 05 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday departed Beijing, China, after a successful visit from January 3-5, 2026.
DPM/FM was the first Foreign Minister to be received by Foreign Minister Wang Yi in 2026, according to a press release issued by the Foreign Office.
During the visit, DPM/FM co-chaired with Foreign Minister Wang Yi the 7th Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue. He also had meetings with Executive Vice Premier of China, Ding Xuexiang; Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), Liu Haixing; Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Chen Xiaodong; and Vice President of China Minmetals Corporation (MCC), Xu Jiqing.
The visit also saw the official launch of commemorative activities of the 75th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
