ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar met with the family of a martyred Islamabad Police officer at his office, reaffirming the department’s continued commitment to the families of martyrs.
A police spokesperson told APP on Thursday that the DIG Headquarters expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and paid tribute to the sacrifices rendered by Islamabad Police martyrs.

He praised the resilience and courage of the martyr’s family and assured them of every possible assistance, particularly regarding the educational needs of the martyr’s children and other welfare matters.

Jameel Zafar stated that martyrs are the pride and honour of the department, adding that their sacrifices would never go in vain.
He further emphasized that Islamabad Police always stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of its martyrs and considers their care a professional responsibility.
The DIG Jameel Zafar reiterated that ensuring the education, health, and essential needs of martyrs’ children remains among the department’s top priorities.
