DIG Joiya visits Safe City expansion camera sites in New Blue Area, directs early completion

ISLAMABAD, Mar 19 (APP):Director General Safe City/Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya visited the Safe City Islamabad expansion project camera sites in New Blue Area to review progress on ongoing development work.

An official told APP on Thursday that the DIG Joiya , accompanied by Deputy Director OFC Wasif Sarwar and other team members, inspected various camera installation sites under the expansion project.

He said that during the visit, Muhammad Haroon Joiya reviewed the pace and quality of work and issued directions to complete the construction and installation work at the earliest.

The official added that the expansion project aims to enhance surveillance coverage and strengthen security monitoring in the federal capital through modern technology.

Joiya emphasized that timely completion of the project would play a vital role in improving public safety and operational efficiency of Islamabad Police
