DIG Joiya, Hytera team discuss unified police communication network

ISLAMABAD, Mar 18 (APP): Director General Safe City/Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya, along with the Safe City technical team, held a meeting with a delegation of Hytera Communications Corporation to discuss improvement in police communication systems.

An official told APP on Wednesday that senior officers also attended the meeting, where detailed discussions were held on integrating Islamabad Police’s communication across the district into a unified network.

He said that the meeting focused on adopting modern communication solutions to enhance coordination and operational efficiency of the police force.

Joiya emphasized the need for a reliable and advanced communication system to ensure timely response and effective policing.

Both sides agreed to explore further collaboration for bringing Islamabad Police communication on a single integrated network, aligned with modern technological standards.
