ISLAMABAD, Jul 31 (APP):Director General of the National Language Promotion Department (NLPD), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, distributed certificates among students of Thal University Bhakkar upon the completion of their internship at the department.
He also presented them with books from the department as a gift.
Two students from the BS Urdu program at Thal University Bhakkar, Faisal Shehzad and Rimsha Malik, successfully completed a six-week internship at the NLPD, according to a press release issued here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar said, “Practical training holds great significance in the lives of young students. The process of learning continues throughout life, and such training programs play a vital role in the academic and intellectual development of the youth.”
He further emphasized that the NLPD remained fully committed to the promotion of the Urdu language and literature.
Executive Director of the NLPD, Dr. Rashid Hameed, said that practical training was an effective means of nurturing a conscious, upright, and knowledge-loving young generation.
He reiterated that the NLPD would continue its efforts to provide students with high-quality training in the national language.
“Such beneficial training programs will continue to be organized in the future,” he assured.
