ISLAMABAD, Nov 05 (APP): The District & Sessions Court of Islamabad on Wednesday once again postponed the cross-examination of witnesses in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousaf, extending the trial proceedings to next week.
The Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka adjourned the hearing of the TikToker Sana Yousaf murder case after the defense counsel did not conduct the scheduled cross-examination of witnesses.
During the proceedings, the defense refrained from questioning the witnesses, prompting remarks from lawyer Sardar Qadeer, who accused the opposing side of deliberately delaying the case by avoiding cross-examination. He assured the court that the witnesses would be cross-examined at the next hearing.
Following the submissions, Judge Majoka set November 11 as the new date for cross-examination and postponed further proceedings until then.
The case involves the killing of TikToker Sana Yousaf.
The court directed both parties to ensure the presence of witnesses and legal representatives on the next date of hearing to avoid further delay in the trial. The next hearing will determine the continuation of evidence recording and examination of witnesses.
