Court cancels accused’s arrest warrants

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday cancelled the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against PTI founder’s Lawyer Fathullah Burki after he appeared before the court in the Khawar Manika torture case.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (APP):An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday cancelled the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against PTI founder’s Lawyer Fathullah Burki after he appeared before the court in the Khawar Manika torture case.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra heard the case. During the hearing, Zahid Bashir Dar, Ansar Kayani and others appeared in the court, while Advocate Komal Jadoon appeared in the court on behalf of PTI lawyers.

The court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Fathullah Burki for his continuous non-appearance despite the summons, ordered his arrest and production, and adjourned the hearing.

Later, Fathullah Burki appeared in the court and requested to cancel the arrest warrant. The court cancelled the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against Fathullah Burki upon his appearance.

A case has been registered against PTI lawyers in Ramna police station.
