Chairman HEC convenes meeting of national centres to discuss research activities & operational matters

ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (APP): Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar convened a meeting of the leading National Centres on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Robotics.
During the meeting, the research activities and operational matters of the centres, established by HEC, were discussed in details.
The Chairman HEC urged the Directors/Project Directors of the centres to actively showcase their research projects and products, highlight their initiatives taken for public benefit, demonstrate the skills being imparted to students and the wider public, and present their global partnership initiatives.
He also encouraged the centres to initiate collaborations with higher education institutions located in remote areas to ensure mutual benefits for both the institutions and the centres, while enabling the trickle-down impact of government funding.
The HEC side agreed to provide its digital and social media platforms to support the dissemination of the centres’ achievements and success stories.
