ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):In their effort to combat the spread of dengue in the federal capital, the Directorate of Health Services Capital Development Authority (CDA) conducted an anti-dengue spray at National Press Club (NPC) on Thursday.
In a statement issued here, Director General (DG) of Health Services CDA, Dr. Irshad Ali Jokhio, highlighted their commitment to protect the residents of the federal capital from dengue by conducting anti-mosquito spray.
“Protecting the public from dengue is our top priority; in this regard, vigorous steps are underway to eliminate dengue from the federal capital,” DG said, adding, “swift actions are being taken, wherever complains received.”
He further said that upon receiving the complaint from NPC, a rapid response team has been dispatched to carry out spraying at its premises, ensuring the safety of journalists, staff and visitors.
