University of Balochistan reviews academic preparations for new academic year 2026

QUETTA, Mar 06 (APP):The University of Balochistan held an important meeting under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai to review preparations for the start of the academic year 2026.

The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghulam Razaq Shahwani, Controller of Examinations Dr. Sharif Muhammad Hasni, deans of various faculties, department chairpersons, and directors.

Participants conducted a detailed review of academic activities, including regular commencement of classes, faculty and staff attendance and administrative matters across departments.

The meeting emphasized strengthening academic discipline, ensuring the timely start of classes, maintaining regular attendance of teachers and staff, and improving checks and balances across departments.

Chairpersons and directors shared challenges faced by their respective departments and presented suggestions for improvement.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai appreciated the feedback and assured participants that effective measures would be taken to enhance academic standards and provide better facilities for students.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Zahoor Bazai reiterated the administration’s commitment to launching the academic year 2026 in an organized and effective manner, ensuring students receive quality education in a conducive academic environment at the university located in Quetta.
