QUETTA, Mar 07 (APP):Senior officials of the Balochistan government conducted an inspection of ongoing development projects in Quetta on Saturday, reviewing the pace and quality of work on key infrastructure initiatives aimed at improving urban facilities.

Zahid Saleem, Additional Chief Secretary (Development), along with Babar Khan, Secretary of the Communications and Works Department, visited several project sites across the provincial capital to assess progress on development schemes.

Officials were briefed on projects focused on the construction and rehabilitation of city roads and broader improvements to urban infrastructure. Multiple initiatives are currently underway to enhance road networks and upgrade civic facilities in different parts of Quetta.

Speaking on the occasion, Zahid Saleem directed authorities to ensure that all projects are completed within stipulated timelines while maintaining high construction standards. He emphasized that timely completion and transparency in execution are essential so residents can benefit from improved transportation facilities and modern infrastructure.

Secretary of Communications and Works Babar Khan also instructed project teams to accelerate the pace of work, stressing that the timely completion of public welfare projects remains a top priority for the provincial government.

Project directors, engineers, and other officials associated with the schemes were present during the visit and provided detailed briefings on the progress and implementation of ongoing projects.
