ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (APP):Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar expressed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of Pope Francis here on Monday.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. I extend heartfelt condolences to the global Christian community, especially our Christian brothers and sisters in Pakistan,” he said.
The minister said that Pope Francis was a beacon of compassion, humility, and justice. His unwavering commitment to the marginalized, his advocacy for interfaith harmony, and his efforts to promote peace and understanding among diverse communities have left an indelible mark on the world, said a statement issued by Ministry of Human Rights.
