Ayaz extends Eid ul Fitr greetings to nation, Muslim Ummah

Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt Eid ul Fitr greetings to the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 20 (APP):Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt Eid ul Fitr greetings to the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah.

He said that Eid ul Fitr is a time to share joy, strengthen the spirit of love and selflessness, and express gratitude.

The festival provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate with family, friends, and those in need, he added.

The NA Speaker emphasized that the less fortunate and needy must not be overlooked.

In view of the current economic challenges, he urged everyone to exercise moderation and prudence in their personal lives.

He further highlighted that it is the responsibility of all citizens to support the government in maintaining national stability and ensuring peace and security. Every Pakistani, he added, should play an active role in promoting social, political, and economic progress.

Ayaz Sadiq underscored that Pakistan continues to confront Indian-sponsored terrorism with resolve, and the nation stands firmly alongside its armed forces and security agencies.

He affirmed that the nation and its armed forces are committed to completely eradicating Indian-backed terrorist elements.

NA Speaker stressed the need to avoid all forms of extremism, hatred, and sectarianism.

He praised the unparalleled sacrifices of the officers and personnel of the Pakistan armed forces and security agencies in the fight against terrorism, affirming that these sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that the nation honors and prays for the civilians as well as the officers and personnel of the armed forces and security agencies who have attained martyrdom in the fight against terrorism.

He paid tribute to these martyrs and expressed full solidarity with their families.

Ayaz Sadiq also called upon the public to remember in their prayers the oppressed brotherly people of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK), reaffirming that Pakistan will continue to provide steadfast political, social, and diplomatic support to Muslims in these regions.

NA Speaker called upon the international community to play an effective role in facilitating peaceful resolutions to regional disputes.

He further stated that Pakistan remains committed to resolving conflicts through peace, stability, and dialogue, and consistently advocates for the peaceful settlement of issues both regionally and globally.

Ayaz Sadiq prayed that this blessed Eid-ul-Fitr brings joy, peace, and prosperity to every Pakistani and strengthens unity, solidarity, and a collective approach within the Muslim Ummah to confront shared challenges.

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also extended Eid greetings to the nation, highlighting that the occasion provides an excellent opportunity to promote love, harmony, and the spirit of humanity.

He said that Eid encourages sharing happiness with family, friends, and those in need, while reminding citizens to take care of the deserving and vulnerable.

Mustafa Shah said that in view of the current economic challenges, everyone should practice moderation in personal life, and every citizen should actively contribute to national development, peace, stability, and social cohesion.

He commended the Pakistani nation for standing steadfastly alongside its courageous armed forces and security agencies, and paid tribute to the officers and personnel who have attained martyrdom in the fight against terrorism.
