ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP): The District & Sessions Court of Islamabad on Monday issued the arrest warrants for former chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur after he failed to appear in a case related to alleged recovery of liquor and weapons.
The court has fixed November 24 as the next hearing.
On today’s hearing, Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti issued arrest warrants for Ali Amin Gandapur in a case registered at Bara Kahu Police Station. The case concerns the alleged recovery of liquor and weapons from him.
During the hearing, the court reviewed the attendance record and noted that Gandapur had not appeared. The judicial magistrate expressed concern over his repeated absence and proceeded to issue the arrest warrants.
The court then adjourned the case and scheduled the next hearing for November 24. The proceedings will continue in the case filed at Bara Kahu Police Station, where Gandapur faces charges related to possession of liquor and weapons.
