Applications invited for attending Hazrat Nizam ud Din Aulia’s urs in India

ISLAMABAD, Apr 10 (APP):The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Wednesday invited the applications for participating in the annual urs of Hazrat Khawaja Nizam ud Din (RA) by April 25.
The urs is scheduled to be held in Delhi, India from December 12 to19, 2019. Each applicant is required to attach a non refundable draft of Rs 1,000 along with the application. The fee could be deposited online in Account no 3035053332, National Bank of Pakistan, Main Branch (0341), Civic Centre, G-6 Markaz, said a press release.
According to the ministry,only 250 Pakistani pilgrims are allowed to attend the urs and in case,the number of applicants exceeds the allotted quota, the pilgrims would be selected through balloting on May 17.
The successful applicants would be informed through intimation letters after one month of the balloting. Original passport and travelling documents are required to be submitted three months prior to the departure as security clearance of Zaireen needs at least two months as per agreed criteria.
Indian embassy does not accept the passports for stamping visa whose expiry date is less than eight months from the Urs date. Such applicants must renew their passports at the earliest to avoid rejection of visa. Indian embassy accepts visa applications online www.India.org.pk. The applicants should fill the forms online and send it to the ministry online.
