APHC protests rape of Kashmiri Muslim girl Asifa

ISLAMABAD, Apr 19 (APP):All Pakistan Hurriyat Conference (APHC) (Jammu and Kashmir Chapter) Thursday organized a protest demonstration at D Chowk here, to protest rape and brutal martyrdom of eight years old innocent Muslim girl Asifa by workers of Bhartia Janata Party (BJP) in occupied valley of Kashmir.
A large number of people participated in the demonstration and chanted slogans against Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir. The workers of BJP raped the innocent girl continuous eight days and then brutally murdered her. No matching example could be found from the world history, said the speakers while addressing the gathering.
Speakers said the brutal murders of Asifa, Nilofar and Asiya could never be forgotten. They demanded the international community to play their over due role in awarding exemplary punishment to the rapists.
They expressed solidarity with the families of victims and saying that the sacrifices of innocent Kashmiris would not go waste. Kashmiris would continue their just struggle till achieving the goal of winning the right to self determination.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders and APHC said India was using brutal force to suppress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris. Many innocent Kashmiris have been killed and injured hundreds by Indian forces during the last two months. The Indian forces have destroyed properties of Kashmiris in the occupied valley.
The speakers expressed agony and distress over the use of pallet guns and arrests of innocent people under draconian laws. India has given license to its forces to trample human rights brazenly.
The speakers said that the tragedies of Kathua, Kulgam and Shopian have made the whole nation worrisome. Rapes and brutal killings of innocent Kashmiris have become a routine affair in Occupied Kashmir.
The speakers said the Indian Army has martyred 89 Kashmiri youth and injured over 890 Kashmiris in the last four months. Over 510 Kashmiris have received bullets, pellets injuries and 55 lost either one or both eyes during the current calendar year. Indian forces use chemical weapons and explosive, thus completely burning the house, property along with human bodies.
