ISLAMABAD, Nov 28 (APP):Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting five operations across the country against drug traffickers managed to arrest five suspects including a woman and recovered 254.8 kgs drugs worth more than Rs 20.9 million.
According to an ANF Headquarters spokesman in an operation on National Highway, Hyderabad, 72 kgs hashish was recovered from a vehicle and two accused were arrested.
In second operation on National Highway, Hyderabad, 62.4 kgs hashish was seized and an accused was netted.
In a raid in Dara Adamkhel District Kohat, 72 kgs hashish was recovered.
The spokesman informed that in fourth operation conducted on the coastal line of Pisni, District Gwadar, 30 kgs hashish & 10 kgs ice drug hidden in bushes were recovered.
In 5th operation near Motorway Toll Plaza, Islamabad, 8.4 kgs hashish was recovered from the possession of two passengers, a female and male traveling on public transport.
Separate cases have been registered against the arrested accused under the CNSA-1997, the spokesman informed.
