Abbasi strongly condemns girl killing, visits Railway employee’s house

RAWALPINDI, Jan 28 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the brutal murder of the 14-year-old minor daughter of a Pakistan Railways employee, saying that justice will be ensured in every way and the responsible accused will be severely punished according to the law.
The minister visited the affected family in Rawalpindi, offered condolences to the bereaved family and recited Fatiha for the high ranks of the deceased.
While consoling the grieving family, he said that the government and Pakistan Railways stand with them in this hour of sorrow.
Hanif Abbasi stated that the murder of a minor daughter of a railway employee is not only a tragedy for one family but an heartbreaking incident for the entire society. He clearly declared that the case of the 14-year-old victim is his personal case, and bringing it to a logical conclusion is his top priority.
The Federal Minister for Railways directly contacted the CPO Rawalpindi and obtained a detailed briefing on the progress of the case. The CPO Rawalpindi informed the minister that the accused was close to being apprehended by the law, and the investigation was proceeding swiftly.
The minister said that tyrants and beastly elements would not be forgiven under any circumstances, and would be brought to justice. He instructed the relevant law enforcement agencies to ensure a transparent, impartial, and effective investigation of the case so that the affected family receives justice as soon as possible.
He further added that such incidents are a moment of reflection for society, and the government is taking every possible measure for the protection of citizens, especially children. The Federal Minister assured that the Pakistan Railways administration will also provide every possible support to the affected family.
