5006 regular, temporary employees working in PTVC: NA informed

ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (APP):Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Division Choudhry Shahbaz Babar Wednesday informed the National Assembly that at present 5006 employees are working in Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) on
regular and temporary basis.
Responding to a question during question hour in the House, Shahbaz Babar said that out of total, 3943 employees are regular employees and 1063 are working on temporary basis.
He said the present PTVC management has taken several steps for betterment and welfare of its employees while services of 367 and 161 temporary employees have been regularized in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
Shahbaz Babar said that PTVC has provided jobs to 150 children of deceased employees. Moreover, day care centers have been established for kids of female employees at PTVC headquarters.
He said that Hindu employees have been given Festive allowance Rs 3000 at Dewali and Rs 5000 to Christian employees.
Shahbaz Babar said that inter-centers tournaments of Cricket, Table Tennis and Hockey are
arranged for healthy entertainment of employees of the organization.
