Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 33 lawbreakers during separate operations across the federal capital and recovered drugs and weapons from their possession.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 24 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 33 lawbreakers during separate operations across the federal capital and recovered drugs and weapons from their possession.

An official told APP on Tuesday that police teams from Karachi Company, Tarnol, Koral, Bani Gala, Aabpara, Khanna, Sangjani and Lohi Bher police stations arrested 15 accused involved in various criminal activities.

He said the police recovered 640 grams of ice, 20 bottles of liquor and nine pistols with ammunition from their possession.
Cases have been registered against them and further investigation was underway.
He said that during a special campaign launched to apprehend proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams arrested 18 more criminals from different areas of the city.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza said that Islamabad Police remains committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and no one would be allowed to disturb public peace.
