ISLAMABAD, Dec 5 (APP):The 23rd Pharma Asia Exhibition and Conference concluded on a high note, marking record-breaking participation and business deals, largely attributed to the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
More than 27,000 professionals from the pharmaceutical industry attended the three-day event, which generated business agreements and investment opportunities worth over USD 170 million, said a press release on Friday.
“The exhibition also saw strong international participation, with over 200 foreign exhibitors from 10 countries showcasing their products.
Companies from China, Italy, Türkiye, Switzerland, and Spain presented cutting-edge pharmaceutical machinery, raw materials, packaging solutions, and quality-control technologies,” it added.
“China established the largest international pavilion, demonstrating the strength and growing global footprint of its pharmaceutical industry,” it noted.
“Industry experts noted that the surge in commercial agreements reflected Pakistan’s steady progress toward achieving its USD 10 billion export target,” it highlighted.
