KOHAT, Apr 4 (APP): Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information, Shafi Jan has said that work has been started on a check dam in Teen Talab area of Union Council Shah Pur district Kohat to address issue of water scarcity.
Talking to notables of the are here Saturday, he said that the project was a long standing demand of the local community that would help resolving problems of people relating to water shortage. He added that the project would not only boost agricultural output but also improve the groundwater levels and help control flood.
Meanwhile, the residents welcomed the initiative, expressing the hope that it would significantly ease water shortage issues and support the local economy.
