Solid efforts afoot to resolve citizens’ problems

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Mar 25 (APP):Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Upper, Asmatullah Wazir has expressed his commitment to resolve issues of people promptly.

Addressing various meetings with various delegations of people under the open door policy, he said that the district administration remained dedicated to serving the people.

He said that to ensure the registration of citizens’ complaints and their timely resolution, special facilitation was being provided on a daily basis at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where members of the public can present their grievances directly.

He directed all concerned officers to avoid any negligence or delay in addressing public issues, warning that strict action would be taken in case of non-compliance.

He added that the purpose of the open-door policy was to bridge the gap between the public and the administration and to ensure the swift resolution of problems. He urged citizens to approach the DC’s Office without hesitation to seek redress of their issues.

People have welcomed the initiative saying it provided them with direct access to authorities for resolving their concerns.
