DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Mar 30 (APP):Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded promptly to 205 different emergency incidents over the last week, providing timely rescue and medical services to the public at their doorstep.
These operations were carried out under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi.
According to the spokesman, a total of 3,133 calls were received during the week, including 1,512 fake or unnecessary calls and 1,416 informational calls.
He reveals that rescue teams responded to 164 medical emergencies, 28 road traffic accidents, eight incidents involving fights and gunshot injuries, and three fire incidents. As a result, a total of 205 patients were safely shifted to hospitals, while many others were provided first aid on the spot.
Furthermore, under the referral service, Rescue 1122 responded to 43 emergencies, transporting 44 patients.
Among them, five patients were shifted within the district, while 38 were transferred from one district to another.
