KP PHE Minister reviews progress on development schemes

PESHAWAR, Mar 26 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan presided over an important review meeting on Thursday regarding ongoing water supply and sanitation schemes in Bajaur, Abbottabad, Lower Chitral, Swat-I, Bannu, and Orakzai at his office in Peshawar.

Executive Engineers (XENs) from the concerned districts attended the meeting and briefed the Provincial Minister in detail on the progress of ongoing development schemes in their respective areas.

The XENs presented updates on the progress achieved so far, challenges faced, technical and administrative hurdles, and utilization of funds.

Addressing the meeting, the KP minister Fazal Shakoor Khan said provision of clean drinking water and improved sanitation facilities to the public is among the top priorities of the provincial government. He directed that all ongoing schemes must be completed within the stipulated timelines and that no compromise should be made on the quality of work.

The provincial minister further directed the concerned officials to increase field visits, ensure continuous monitoring of schemes, and address public complaints in a timely manner.

He also emphasized the need to ensure transparency in both new and ongoing schemes and to maximize public benefit through efficient utilization of available resources.
