KP Govt finalizes comprehensive monitoring plan for Matric exams: Minister

PESHAWAR, Mar 25 (APP):Provinvial Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan on Wednesday said a comprehensive strategy has been devised to ensure effective monitoring of matriculation examination halls across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chairing a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Monitoring Authority, the minister said that under the plan, around 3,520 examination halls would be monitored daily, while approximately 750 monitors would visit exam centres on a daily basis.
The meeting reviewed in detail the arrangements for the upcoming matric examinations, with a focus on ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.
Senior officials including Muhammad Khalid, Iftikhar Ali Khan and Manzoor Afridi were also present on the occasion.
Key measures discussed included ensuring uninterrupted electricity and proper lighting in examination halls, maintaining appropriate seating arrangements with adequate spacing, provision of clean drinking water, and availability of furniture for students.
The minister said monitoring staff strength would be enhanced, CCTV cameras would remain fully functional, and strict vigilance would be ensured around examination centres to prevent the entry of unauthorized persons and banned materials.
He added that in case of serious violations, an immediate alert would be issued through a centralized dashboard system to ensure prompt action and uphold the integrity of the examination process.
